Introduction

Model pendekatan keluarga dalam pencegahan stunting di kampung kb wilayah kabupaten barito selatan (studi kasus kehamilan remaja). Temukan model pendekatan keluarga untuk pencegahan stunting di Kampung KB Barito Selatan, fokus pada kehamilan remaja. Studi kualitatif ungkap gap pengetahuan & faktor budaya.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the concrete consequences of child-age marriage and child-age pregnancy. The prevalence of stunting in Central Kalimantan Province decreased from 26.9% in 2022 to 23.5% in 2023 and ranked sixth for child marriage (a decrease from the previous year in the position of child marriage in the second of 38 provinces). This study aims to build a Family Assistance Model for Stunting Prevention in Family Planning Villages, South Barito Regency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Research Results: This study involved 30 mothers aged <20 years, husbands (who have stunted children under five and live in a family planning village), health workers (midwives and nutritionists), PLKB and village heads (for the triangulation process). The research was conducted with several themes of knowledge about stunting, culture, customs, government programs and the role in handling stunting. Most mothers and husbands do not understand about stunting, the culture of seeing stunting problems is normal (genetic factors from parents influence), the traditional handling to overcome the problem of stunting first is bathing, government programs for PMT made locally from the central and village governments are not known by many families and not all play an optimal role in handling stunting (especially families).
