PENGEMBANGAN POTENSI DESA WISATA PENTEK KECAMATAN SADANIANG KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH

Introduction

Pengembangan potensi desa wisata pentek kecamatan sadaniang kabupaten mempawah. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengembangan Desa Wisata Pentek, Mempawah. Mengidentifikasi potensi atraksi, aksesibilitas, fasilitas, keramahan, dan keamanan untuk desa wisata berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang proses pengembangan desa wisata di Desa Pentek Kecamatan Sadaniang Kabupaten Mempawah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori komponen pengembangan desa wisata Ningrum dan Amalia (2020, 71-79) yaitu 1) Atraksi, sudah terdapat beberapa objek wisata, namun dengan kekayaan alam dan kekayaan budaya yang ada hendaknya atraksi bisa lebih dioptimalkan dengan memperhatikan tema desa wisata berkelanjutan berbasis konservasi lingkungan, budaya dan edukasi. 2) Aksessibilitas, akses jalan masih perlu dilakukan perbaikan dan pembangunan serta penyediaan fasilitas yang memudahkan menuju desa wisata. 3) Amenities, belum adanya penginapan yang disediakan untuk para wisatawan. 4) Keramahan, masyarakat desa menciptakan suasana yang membuat pengunjung betah dengan keramahan yang dimiliki, sehingga tidak ada masalah mengenai keramahan. 5) Keamanan, kondisi didesa dapat dinyatakan aman dari tindak kriminal serta Pemerintah menjamin keamanan dimasa pandemi. 6) FGD, sudah pernah melakukan pertemuan pembahasan desa wisata serta mensosialisasikan kepada masyarakat dan mendapat respon dukungan dari masayarakat. Kata Kunci: Desa Wisata Berkelanjutan, Pengembangan, Potensi.

The study identifies significant potential in terms of existing attractions, though it wisely recommends further optimization to align with a sustainable tourism theme encompassing environmental conservation, culture, and education. Positive aspects highlighted include the strong hospitality of the local community, which fosters a welcoming atmosphere, and a secure environment guaranteed by the local government. However, the research also pinpoints crucial areas needing improvement, specifically concerning accessibility, where road infrastructure requires repair and development, and amenities, noting the current absence of accommodation facilities for tourists. The report also acknowledges that initial community engagement (FGD) has taken place, garnering positive support, which is a vital prerequisite for successful development. While providing a valuable overview, the abstract suggests that the study primarily describes the current state of various components rather than deeply analyzing the *process* of development itself, which was stated as the research's aim. Future research could benefit from a more in-depth exploration into the specific mechanisms, governance structures, funding challenges, and stakeholder interactions that drive or impede the development process for accessibility and amenities. Furthermore, elaborating on concrete strategies for optimizing attractions within the suggested sustainable and educational framework would enhance the practical applicability of the findings. Nevertheless, this paper serves as an important baseline assessment for Pentek Village, laying the groundwork for more targeted interventions and further academic inquiry into sustainable rural tourism development.
