The article, "Keabsahan Surat Kuasa Yang Diberikan Kepada Advokat Berdasarkan Prespektif Hukum Di Indonesia," addresses a fundamental procedural and ethical aspect of legal practice in Indonesia: the validity of a power of attorney (surat kuasa) granted to advocates. This topic is of significant practical importance, directly impacting the legitimacy of an advocate's representation and the smooth functioning of judicial processes. The paper clearly articulates its central objective: to explore the legal perspective on the validity of such powers of attorney under Indonesian law. The chosen methodology, doctrinal or normative legal research, focusing on "Law In Book," is appropriate for this type of legal inquiry, aiming to analyze statutory provisions and established legal principles concerning the topic. A key strength indicated by the abstract lies in its focus on practical implications regarding the validity of the power of attorney. The discussion promises to delve into the specific elements that determine a power of attorney's legitimacy. Particularly noteworthy is the abstract's explicit mention of a critical procedural nuance: the distinction between granting power to a single advocate versus multiple advocates (or a team). The assertion that a power of attorney signed by a client for more than one advocate *could be subject to cancellation* by the panel of judges at the first hearing introduces an interesting and potentially impactful point for practitioners. This highlights a specific area where the author expects to provide valuable insight into potential challenges to a power of attorney's validity. While the abstract clearly outlines the paper's scope and a key area of discussion, it leaves room for anticipation regarding the depth of its legal analysis. For instance, the specific legal basis or precedents for challenging a power of attorney involving multiple advocates would be crucial for strengthening this particular argument. Further elaboration on the conditions under which such a cancellation might occur, and the implications for the client and advocates involved, would enhance the paper's contribution. Overall, this article appears to offer a timely and relevant discussion for legal practitioners and scholars alike, contributing to a better understanding of the formal requirements and potential pitfalls concerning the power of attorney within the Indonesian legal system. Its focus on a specific procedural challenge promises to be a valuable takeaway.
