Temukan faktor human, organisasi, & regulasi signifikan memengaruhi manfaat SIMRS. Rekomendasi untuk optimalkan kualitas layanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) di RSUD Mohammad Natsir dengan menggunakan Model HOT - Fit. Meskipun SIMRS diterapkan sejak 2009, terdapat masalah seperti gangguan operasional, ketidakakuratan data, dan kurangnya dukungan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi manfaat penggunaan SIMRS, serta memberikan solusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subjek yang sampel menjadi penelitian sebanyak 158 pegawai RSUD Mohammad Natsir. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner oleh responden. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi human (manusia), organization (organisasi), technology (teknologi), pengetahuan pengguna, regulasi dan manfaat penggunaan SIMRS. Analisis data bivariat menggunakan chi-square. Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara faktor human (p=0,028), organization (p=0,002), dan regulasi (p=0,007) terhadap manfaat penggunaan SIMRS, dengan p-value lebih kecil dari 0,05. Namun, tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara faktor technology (p=0,101) dan pengetahuan pengguna (p=0,157) terhadap manfaat penggunaan SIMRS karena p-value lebih besar dari 0,05. Evaluasi SIMRS di RSUD Mohammad Natsir menunjukkan implementasi yang belum optimal. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa faktor human, organization, dan regulasi memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan manfaat SIMRS. Sebaliknya, faktor technology dan pengetahuan pengguna memiliki hubungan yang sangat signifikan dengan manfaat SIMRS, dengan p-value lebih besar dari α = 0,05. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas SIMRS, disarankan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada pengguna, menyesuaikan fitur dengan kebutuhan, memperluas kapasitas jaringan, berkomitmen pada optimalisasi sistem, dan meningkatkan disiplin dalam entri data.

This study investigates the factors influencing the benefits derived from the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) at RSUD Mohammad Natsir, utilizing the widely recognized HOT-Fit model. The study concludes with practical recommendations aimed at improving SIMRS effectiveness, such as enhanced user training and systemic adjustments. While the study provides valuable insights into SIMRS adoption in a specific Indonesian hospital setting and offers actionable recommendations, there are areas for refinement. The abstract contains a contradictory statement in its concluding remarks regarding technology and user knowledge factors, initially stating no significant relationship but then claiming "highly significant" with p-values greater than 0.05. This inconsistency requires clarification to avoid misinterpretation of the results. Furthermore, while the quantitative approach identifies correlations, a deeper qualitative exploration could provide richer contextual understanding of the identified issues and non-significant factors. Future research could also consider a longitudinal design to observe the impact of the proposed interventions over time and explore generalizability beyond a single institution. Despite these points, the research contributes meaningfully to the understanding of SIMRS implementation challenges and opportunities in similar healthcare environments.
