Every soul in this world will die. After life in the world there is another life, namely life after die or afterlife. Afterlife always has been a mystery. Making imagination always imagined with various perceptions. The life of the world is the life that is currently taking. But between they both, there are things become problematic, namely the existence of world life and the afterlife, especially in regrading place. Where is the place of world? where is the place of hereafter? this is a questions that will be interesting to answer. For the existence of the life of the World, it is clearly the place on Earth as we have felt this during today. So what about the existence of the Hereafter itself? whether in other worlds, as understood by the majority of the people or perhaps the afterlife will also occur on this earth, because humans will be raised from their respective graves? This is where perhaps the talk of eschatology will result in the disclosure of the mystery of the mystery of the existence of the place of afterlife.
The paper, titled "Eskatologi : Keberadaan Alam Akhirat dalam Al-Qur'an" (Eschatology: The Existence of the Hereafter in the Qur'an), addresses a fundamental and perennially significant theological question within Islamic thought. The abstract immediately engages the reader by highlighting the universal human experience of death and the subsequent mystery surrounding the afterlife. It clearly articulates the central problem: the specific location and nature of this post-mortem existence, contrasting it with the tangible reality of worldly life. This foundational inquiry into a core tenet of faith holds considerable scholarly and general interest, promising an exploration into a topic of universal human curiosity and profound religious significance. The strength of the abstract lies in its ability to pinpoint a very specific and intriguing dimension of eschatology: the spatial existence of the afterlife. By posing questions such as "Where is the place of hereafter?" and considering whether it is a distinct realm or perhaps a transformed version of our current Earth, the author opens up a critical area for detailed Quranic exegesis and theological discussion. This specific focus moves beyond general affirmations of the afterlife to delve into its ontological and geographical possibilities, promising a nuanced exploration. To fully deliver on this promise, the full paper would benefit from a clear articulation of its methodological approach, whether it relies primarily on classical tafsir, modern interpretations, philosophical reasoning, or a comparative study of relevant Quranic verses. While the abstract effectively establishes the research problem and its significance, the subsequent full paper would need to rigorously engage with primary Quranic sources and established Islamic scholarship to provide a comprehensive answer to these profound questions. A thorough analysis of relevant verses, coupled with an examination of various interpretive traditions regarding the "place" of the afterlife, would be essential. Addressing the proposed dichotomy – whether the afterlife is in "other worlds" or on "this earth" – demands robust textual evidence and well-reasoned theological arguments. If successfully executed, this study has the potential to shed new light on a complex aspect of Islamic eschatology, offering valuable insights into the conceptualization of the hereafter within the Quranic framework.
