Abstract

No universo da pesquisa sobre tecnologias sociais adotadas por movimentos sociais em contexto do enfrentamento à desigualdade e como ação política, surgiu, a partir da netnografia na busca por iniciativas locais disruptivas, o aparecimento no mapa do grupo cultural, teatral e performático que tem em sua base, a pesquisa e a vontade de dizer algo ao mundo - resultando em ocupar o espaço público. A etnografia e entrevistas também foram feitas para entender as motivações, formas de organização, de linguagens, para analisar na perspectiva dos fundamentos bibliográficos da colonialidade, do território e das expressões humanas e subjetivas em meio à tona tecnológica. Busca-se a interpretação do contexto, percebendo as contradições capitalistas, fabulações mercadológicas e possibilidades comunicativas, criativas, artísticas, políticas e econômicas, decorrentes da articulação comunitária no intuito de formação cultural com pesquisa e performance.

Theoretically, the analysis is grounded in critical perspectives of coloniality, territory, and subjective human expressions in an increasingly technological landscape, promising a nuanced interpretation of how community articulation, research, and performance coalesce to foster cultural formation. The anticipated contribution of this work lies in its potential to illuminate the communicative, creative, artistic, political, and economic possibilities that emerge from such community-led initiatives occupying public spaces. By analyzing these articulations, the paper aims to demonstrate how social technologies, beyond mere tools, become instruments for genuine transformation and resistance against systemic inequalities. The study offers a valuable perspective on how local cultural movements can harness public infrastructure as sites for critical engagement, cultural production, and ultimately, a redefinition of public space and collective identity in urban peripheries.
