Abstract

Cette recherche vise à expliquer comment les formes de discrimination de genre et de résistance des femmes sont contenues dans le roman Mémoire de fille. Cette recherche s’appuie sur une approche qualitative et féministe, à savoir le féminisme existentiel présenté par Simone de Beauvoir. Cette étude utilise des extraits et des dialogues tirés de romans comme sources de données et de données de recherche et utilise la méthode de la lecture et de la prise de notes comme méthode de collecte de données. Les données obtenues sont regroupées en fonction de la formulation du problème et placées dans un tableau de données qui sera ensuite analysé. Les résultats de l’analyse ont permis d’identifier trois formes de discrimination fondée sur le sexe, à savoir le harcèlement sexuel, le sexisme et la sexualité. C’est alors que l’on a trouvé la forme de résistance des figures féminines dans la lutte contre les discriminations, à savoir les figures féminines qui travaillaient, acceptaient le concept d’altérité et devenaient des femmes intellectuelles. Ainsi, on peut conclure que la discrimination et la forme de résistance des personnages féminins dans le roman Mémoire de fille d’Annie Ernaux sont conformes à la vision du féminisme existentiel portée par Simone de Beauvoir.
