Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas dinamika peradaban Islam pada masa pemerintahan Dinasti Muwahhidun di Afrika Utara, dengan fokus pada analisis historis mengenai proses berdirinya, masa kejayaannya, dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan keruntuhannya. Dinasti Muwahhidun, yang berdiri pada abad ke-12, muncul sebagai gerakan reformasi agama yang dipimpin oleh Ibn Tumart, dengan tujuan mengembalikan ajaran Islam yang murni. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan mengumpulkan sejumlah literatur yang berkenaan dengan masalah dan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dinasti Muwahhidun memainkan peran penting dalam menyatukan wilayah Afrika Utara, juga menjadi agen transformasi dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan umat Islam.
