No primeiro semestre de 2016 o GECOMLIC ofereceu um curso de extensão sobre a reapropriação de elementos medievais em diferentes obras dos séculos XX e XXI. O curso contou com professores pertencentes ao grupo e ao GEM (Grupo de Estudos Medievais).
