Penelitian ini membahas solusi strategis untuk pendidikan tinggi keagamaan yang profesional di Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to show the effectiveness and importance of the application of strategic management concepts in the process of administering educational institutions, in order to answer the problems that exist and are experienced in Christian Religious Higher Education organizations in particular, where data and facts show that there are still many Private and Religious Higher Education Institutions Christians in Indonesia are not yet of the quality that higher education institutions should be. The method in this research uses a literature study approach that reveals data and facts and analyzes problems and the role of strategic management concepts as solutions. The results and conclusions are that the application of the concept of strategic management in the management of Christian Religious Higher Education is a very important strategic decision taken by the management of the governing foundation and the leaders and management who organize the Christian Religious Higher Education organization in order to be able to organize the organization well, with quality and even professionalism so that can not only survive but also continue to grow until it reaches sustainability. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan sangat efektif dan pentingnya aplikasi dari konsep manajemen strategi dalam proses penyelenggaraan institusi pendidikan, guna menjawab persoalan yang ada dan dialami pada organisasi Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Kristen khususnya, di mana data dan fakta menunjukkan masih banyak Perguruan Tinggi Swasta dan Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Kristen di Indonesia yang belum berkualitas sebagai mana seharusnya institusi pendidikan tinggi. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka yang mengungkap data dan fakta serta menganalisis persoalan dan peranan konsep manajemen strategi sebagai solusinya. Hasil dan kesimpulannya bahwa Aplikasi konsep manajemen strategi dalam pengelolaan Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Kristen adalah merupakan sebuah keputusan stratejik yang sangat penting diambil oleh pengurus yayasan yang manaungi dan pemimpin serta manajemen yang menyelenggarakan organisasi Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Kristen guna dapat menyelenggarakan organisasinya dengan baik, berkualitas bahkan professional sehingga bukan saja dapat bertahan tetapi juga terus bertumbuh sampai mencapai keberlanjutan (sustainable).

The research concludes that the application of strategic management is a vital strategic decision that must be embraced by the governing foundations, leaders, and management of Christian Religious HEIs. This adoption is presented as indispensable for achieving good, quality, and professional organizational management, which in turn facilitates institutional survival, growth, and long-term sustainability. The paper's contribution lies in providing a strong theoretical justification and a call to action for the strategic transformation of these institutions, offering valuable guidance for stakeholders seeking to elevate the quality and ensure the longevity of Christian higher education in Indonesia.
