This study addresses a highly pertinent issue concerning tuberculosis (TB) control performance in Indonesia, a nation recognized as having a high TB burden. The research clearly articulates its objective: to analyze the relationship between perceived organizational support, organizational trust, and the work environment with the performance of TB control efforts at the Puskesmas Sekupang Batam. Given the ongoing challenges in achieving target success rates for TB programs, investigating these organizational and environmental factors among frontline health workers is crucial for developing effective strategies to improve public health outcomes. Employing a quantitative, cross-sectional approach, the study utilized total sampling from the entire population of 63 health workers at the specified health center, which provides a comprehensive picture for that specific context. The methodology, involving univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses, appears robust for exploring relationships between variables. The key finding indicates a significant relationship between all three investigated factors—perceived organizational support, organizational trust, and work environment—and TB control performance. Notably, the work environment emerged as the most strongly related variable, suggesting its paramount importance in this setting. While the abstract establishes the existence of these relationships, the full paper would ideally detail the specific direction, strength, and effect sizes of these associations to provide richer insights. The findings contribute valuable insights into the multi-faceted determinants of TB control performance, particularly highlighting the critical role of the work environment. This suggests that interventions aimed at improving the physical, social, and psychological aspects of the health facility's environment could significantly enhance the effectiveness of TB programs. The study's conclusions underscore the necessity for health center management and policymakers to foster a supportive and trusting organizational culture and, crucially, to optimize the work environment for health personnel. Future research could explore the causal pathways suggested by these relationships through longitudinal studies or evaluate the impact of targeted environmental improvements on TB control indicators.
