Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhinya. Nilai tanggung jawab peserta didik kelas V melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) di SD Negeri 2 Tambakrigadung Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek lima peserta didik dan dua guru kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tanggung jawab peserta didik tergolong cukup baik, tercermin dari perilaku menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu, bekerja sama dalam kelompok, serta menerima konsekuensi dari tindakan. Faktor internal yang dominan meliputi motivasi belajar, kedisiplinan, dan sikap rajin. Sementara itu, faktor eksternal berupa keteladanan guru dan pemberian hukuman yang bersifat mendidik turut membentuk kebiasaan positif. Pembelajaran PPKn terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai karakter, khususnya tanggung jawab. Temuan ini dapat dijadikan rujukan bagi pendidik dalam mengoptimalkan pembelajaran PPKn sebagai sarana penguatan karakter peserta didik.
