Biblical texts, particularly the Psalms, became prototexts of spiritual poetry, providing a stable ideological and formal foundation for further artistic creation. This study specifically explores the paraphrases of Psalms in the works of Vavrinec Benedikt Nedožerský, with Psalm 79 serving as the focal text of the analysis, reflecting the contemporary social situation.
