Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of public information disclosure policies at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung through a study of satisfaction surveys, digital analysis, and public information services. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative analysis obtained from user survey results, digital traffic data, and documentation of public information services recorded by PPID. The results of the study show that the public information disclosure policy at UIN Bandung has been quite effective in providing access to information that is transparent, easy to reach, and in accordance with regulations. The level of public satisfaction is relatively high, supported by the increase in digital access over time, as well as the responsiveness of public information services. However, there are several areas for improvement, especially related to digital channel optimization, sustainability of socialization, and improving the quality of face-to-face services. These findings affirm the importance of synergy between policies, digital technology, and public services in realizing an accountable and participatory university.

Review

This study offers a pertinent and well-structured investigation into the effectiveness of public information disclosure policies at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The multi-faceted approach, incorporating satisfaction surveys, digital analysis, and an examination of public information services, provides a comprehensive perspective on the university's commitment to transparency and accessibility. The abstract clearly indicates positive outcomes, with policies deemed "quite effective," high public satisfaction, increased digital access, and responsive services, suggesting a successful implementation of disclosure mandates. This integrated methodology is a significant strength, offering a holistic view of performance in a critical area of university governance. From a methodological standpoint, the use of a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative analysis is a sound strategy for exploring this topic. However, the abstract could provide more explicit detail regarding the specific quantitative metrics and methodologies employed for each data source. For instance, knowing the design of the user satisfaction survey, the specific tools or metrics for digital traffic data analysis, and the scope of the PPID documentation reviewed would enhance the perceived rigor of the findings, particularly concerning the "relatively high" satisfaction and the observed increase in digital access. While the study commendably identifies areas for improvement—such as digital channel optimization and the quality of face-to-face services—a brief mention of how these specific weaknesses were systematically identified would further bolster the analytical foundation. The findings affirm the vital synergy required between policy, digital technology, and public services to foster an accountable and participatory university. The study's implications extend beyond UIN Bandung, offering valuable insights for other state religious universities striving for similar transparency goals. For the full paper, detailing the concrete recommendations for "digital channel optimization," strategies for ensuring the "sustainability of socialization," and specific improvements for face-to-face services would significantly enhance its practical applicability. Overall, this research presents a valuable initial assessment, and with additional methodological specificity, it has the potential to serve as a significant contribution to best practices in public information disclosure within higher education.
