Puskesos information system to support poverty management in south pekon wates based on pringsewu regent regulation number 25 of 2020. Enhance poverty management in South Pekon Wates, Pringsewu, with a web-mobile PUSKESOS Information System. Improves data accuracy, transparency, and social welfare services, supporting e-Government.
This study aims to examine the implementation of Regent Regulation of Pringsewu No. 25 of 2020 on the Social Welfare Center (PUSKESOS) and to develop a web-mobile-based Puskesos Information System to enhance the effectiveness of social welfare services in Pekon Wates Selatan, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency. The system is designed to facilitate the verification and validation of the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and to improve transparency in managing beneficiary information. The research employs observation, discussion, and village deliberation (Musdes) methods, using the waterfall model for system development. The results indicate that the developed system functions well, is user-friendly, and is well accepted by users. Its implementation contributes to improving data accuracy, operational efficiency, and the overall quality of public services while supporting the application of e-Government at the village level for effective and sustainable social welfare management.
This study presents a timely and relevant exploration into enhancing poverty management through an information system for the Social Welfare Center (PUSKESOS) in Pekon Wates Selatan, aligning with Pringsewu Regent Regulation No. 25 of 2020. The primary objective to develop a web-mobile-based PUSKESOS Information System to improve the verification and validation of Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and increase transparency is commendable. This initiative directly addresses critical challenges often faced in local social welfare administration, particularly concerning data accuracy and efficient service delivery, setting a clear context for its practical application and potential impact on local governance. The methodology employed, combining observation, discussion, and village deliberation (Musdes) with a waterfall model for system development, provides a pragmatic approach to creating a user-centric solution. The abstract highlights the system's successful development, reporting it as functional, user-friendly, and well-accepted by users. These outcomes suggest a successful integration of technology into existing administrative processes. Furthermore, the reported improvements in data accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall public service quality, alongside its contribution to e-Government at the village level, underscore the system's potential to foster more effective and sustainable social welfare management within the specified locality. While the abstract presents promising results, a deeper dive into the robustness of the "well-accepted" claim and the specific metrics used for "improved data accuracy" would strengthen the findings. The waterfall model, while suitable for well-defined requirements, might present rigidity for evolving social welfare needs; future iterations could explore agile methodologies. Additionally, the review would benefit from insights into the scale of implementation, the specific user groups involved in testing and adoption, and a discussion of any challenges encountered during deployment or data migration. Despite these points, the study offers a valuable contribution to the practical application of information systems in local government for social welfare management, providing a foundational model for similar initiatives in other regions.
