Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang ditandai dengan tinggi badan anak yang rendah dibandingkan standar usianya, akibat kekurangan gizi dalam jangka panjang. Berdasarkan data Survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) 2022, prevalensi stunting di Indonesia mencapai 21,6%, dan di Kota Bandung sebesar 19,3%. Kelurahan Cigadung, Kecamatan Cibeunying Kaler, merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan kasus stunting cukup tinggi. Kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua mengenai gizi seimbang, pola asuh, dan keterampilan mengolah makanan bergizi berbahan lokal menjadi faktor penyebab yang signifikan.Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberdayakan orang tua yang memiliki anak stunting atau berisiko stunting melalui pelatihan pengolahan menu bergizi berbasis bahan pangan lokal. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan gizi, demonstrasi pengolahan makanan, dan pendampingan rumah tangga selama tiga bulan (Mei–Juli 2025) dengan melibatkan 30 orang tua. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pretest dan post-test pengetahuan gizi, observasi penerapan menu bergizi, serta pengukuran status gizi anak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan gizi dari 54,3 menjadi 82,8 (peningkatan 52,5%), penerapan variasi menu bergizi oleh 90% peserta, dan perbaikan status gizi pada 70% anak peserta sesuai kurva pertumbuhan WHO. Keberhasilan program dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaran interaktif, dukungan kader posyandu, serta pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal yang terjangkau. Program ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan orang tua, mengubah perilaku pemberian makan, serta memperbaiki status gizi anak. Model intervensi ini berpotensi direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan prevalensi stunting tinggi.
