Abstract

Salah satu perubahan yang terjadi adalah perubahan sosial dan perubahan ekonomi di masyarakat Dusun Liyangan akibat penemuan Candi Liyangan. Penemuan Candi Liyangan dapat mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat di Dusun Liyangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana perubahan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat setelah Penemuan Candi Liyangan, kemudian mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya perubahan sosial dan ekonomi pada masyarakat Dusun Liyangan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian bahwa Candi Liyangan mampu memberikan perubahan sosial dan ekonomi di masyarakat. Perubahan sosial yang terjadi meliputi perubahan interaksi sosial, nilai, sikap, lembaga sosial, dan kebudayaan. Perubahan ekonomi yang terjadi yaitu perubahan mata pencaharian dan peningkatan pendapatan di masyarakat. Terdapat faktor pendorong dan faktor penghambat yang menyebabkan perubahan terjadi. Faktor pendorong berupa SDM, keterbukaan pada lapisan masyarakat, perkembangan teknologi. Faktor penghambatnya berupa dinamika penduduk dan sistem pengelolaan tidak maksimal.
