PERAN KELOMPOK TANI TUNAS JAYA DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN USAHATANI TOMAT DI DESA KOTANAGAYA KECAMATAN BOLANO LAMBUNU KABUPATEN PARIGI MOUTONG

Introduction

Peran kelompok tani tunas jaya dalam meningkatkan pendapatan usahatani tomat di desa kotanagaya kecamatan bolano lambunu kabupaten parigi moutong. Kaji peran kelompok tani Tunas Jaya tingkatkan pendapatan usahatani tomat di Kotanagaya, Parigi Moutong. Petani capai Rp 29.119.111/ha, peran kelompok dinilai tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendapatan petani tomat yang tergabung dalam kelompok tani Tunas Jaya serta menganalisis peran kelompok tersebut dalam meningkatkan pendapatan petani tomat di Desa Kotanagaya, Kecamatan Bolano Lambunu, Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Kegiatan penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Kotanagaya, Kecamatan Bolano Lambunu, Kabupaten Parigi Moutong, selama periode Mei hingga Juli 2024. Penentuan responden pada penelitian ini menggunakan proposive sampling yaitu dari total keseluruhan anggota kelompok yang berjumlah 30 orang, dipilih berdasarkan kriteria petani yang menanam tomat dalam kurun waktu setahun terakhir sehingga diperoleh 21 petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dengan analisis pendapatan usahatani tomat menggunakan rumus π = TR – TC. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata biaya sebesar Rp 31.503.111/ha dan penerimaan Rp 60.622.222/ha, sehingga pendapatan rata-rata petani tomat anggota kelompok tani Tunas Jaya mencapai Rp 29.119.111/ha dan hasil tanggapan peran kelompok tani sebagai kelas belajar, sebagai wahana kerjasama, dan sebagai unit produksi berada dalam kategori tinggi.

The findings strongly suggest that institutions like Kelompok Tani Tunas Jaya play a vital role in supporting members' economic endeavors and knowledge sharing. To enhance the study's scientific contribution and generalizability, future research should consider incorporating a comparative analysis (e.g., comparing group members' income with non-members or pre-group formation income) to more definitively attribute income increases to group membership. Expanding on the specific mechanisms through which the group facilitates learning, cooperation, and production would also provide deeper, actionable insights for policymakers and agricultural extension programs.
