Abstract

Review

This study presents an investigation into the development and evaluation of interactive PowerPoint media, augmented with video, designed to enhance learning outcomes in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) for fifth-grade students. The research employs a quantitative Research and Development (R&D) methodology, specifically adapting a 6-step model based on Borg and Gall. The core objective was to establish the design, feasibility, and effectiveness of the proposed learning media. The abstract provides a clear overview of the research scope, from initial problem identification and data collection to product design, validation, revision, and limited product trial. The topic is highly relevant given the increasing integration of technology in education and the need for engaging instructional materials, especially for practical subjects like PJOK. The strengths of this research lie in its systematic R&D approach and the positive results obtained from its validation and effectiveness tests. Expert validation by material and media specialists yielded very high scores (96.8% and 93.75% respectively), indicating strong content and technical quality. Furthermore, the abstract reports a high N-gain score of 0.63, suggesting a significant improvement in student learning as measured by interactive worksheets. Positive responses from both teachers (92.5%) and students (91.4%) further corroborate the media's perceived usability and benefit. The combination of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods (interviews, observation, questionnaires, documentation) strengthens the overall assessment of the media's feasibility and initial impact. While the abstract demonstrates promising results, certain methodological aspects would benefit from further clarification and detail in the full paper. Specifically, the "ujicoba produk" (product trial) involved only 6 children, and it is implied that the N-gain for effectiveness was derived from this very small sample. For a claim of "meningkatkan hasil belajar," a more robust trial with a larger and more representative sample would typically be expected to establish broader effectiveness. Additionally, while the abstract refers to a 6-step Borg and Gall model, the full paper should clearly articulate the specific adaptations made from the original 10-step model and justify these modifications. Future research could also elaborate on the specific learning objectives targeted within the PJOK curriculum (e.g., specific motor skills, cognitive understanding of rules), and how the interactive media precisely contributed to these outcomes beyond the reported N-gain from worksheets.
