Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang pengembangan dan kajian matan dengan menggunakan pendekatan ilmu-ilmu sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan kajian literatur dan menggunakan metode analisis-deskriptif. Tujuan dari tulisan ini akan mengungkap pengembangan kajian matan menggunakan pendekatan ilmu-ilmu sosial itu sangat diperlukan dalam mengkaji. Kajian matan hadis melalui pendekatan ilmu sosial adalah suatu metode atau cara memahami suatu teks hadis atau isi hadis dengan melalui bantuan disiplin imu-ilmu sosial lainnya. Ilmu-ilmu sosial mencakup ilmu sosiologi, antropologi, psikologi, ekonomi, geografi sosial, politik, dan sejarah. Dengan tujuan untuk memudahkan para pembaca dalam memahami teks atau isi dalam matan hadis itu sendiri.
