Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji validitas buku pedoman mengenai differentiated instruction untuk penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila bagi guru IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4D, yang meliputi tahapan Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar validasi oleh para ahli dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa komponen konstruk memperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 71,5%, komponen isi 75%, dan komponen bahasa 78%, yang seluruhnya berada pada kriteria valid. Rata-rata skor validasi keseluruhan adalah 74,8%, sehingga buku pedoman dinyatakan layak digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, buku ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi guru IPA dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk mendukung integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. This study presents a highly relevant and timely contribution to educational practice by focusing on the development of a differentiated instruction guidebook specifically tailored for strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile among science teachers. The integration of differentiated instruction, a pedagogical approach essential for catering to diverse learner needs, with the core national educational philosophy of Pancasila, addresses a crucial demand in modern education. The explicit objective to develop and rigorously test the validity of such a practical resource is commendable, as it aims to provide substantive support for educators navigating increasingly complex teaching environments while fostering national character values. The research methodology employed, a Research and Development (R&D) approach utilizing the comprehensive 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), is well-suited for the systematic creation and validation of educational materials. Data collection, conducted through expert validation sheets, and subsequent descriptive analysis, provide a clear measure of the guidebook's quality. The validation results are robust, demonstrating high levels of acceptance across all measured dimensions: the construct component achieved an average score of 71.5%, content 75%, and language 78%. With an impressive overall average validation score of 74.8%, the guidebook is confidently declared "fit for use," indicating its reliability and readiness for implementation. The developed guidebook holds significant practical implications, offering a valuable and validated resource for science teachers seeking to effectively implement differentiated learning strategies. Its primary utility lies in supporting the practical integration of Pancasila values directly into classroom activities, thereby enriching the educational experience beyond mere academic achievement. This work successfully bridges pedagogical innovation with national character building, making a meaningful contribution to science education in Indonesia. Future studies could further evaluate the guidebook's effectiveness through pilot implementations in various classroom settings, gathering feedback from both teachers and students to refine the resource and measure its actual impact on student learning outcomes and the cultivation of the Pancasila Student Profile.
