This paper presents a highly relevant and timely initiative addressing the critical challenge of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement at the village level, exemplified by Desa Mulyasejati's low baseline score. The abstract effectively highlights the significant disparities in education, technological access, and sustainable resource management that necessitate intervention. The proposed Community Service Program (PkM) by Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang offers a practical approach to tackle these issues, underscoring the vital role of local engagement and academic support in fostering grassroots sustainable development. The focus on empowering local communities to understand and implement the 18 SDGs is a commendable and essential strategy. The methodology employed, characterized by a participatory and collaborative approach, appears well-suited for community development. The program's activities, including situational analysis, training, and capacity building, are logically structured to address the identified gaps. Specifically, interventions in sustainable agriculture, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship directly target areas crucial for both environmental sustainability and economic empowerment within rural communities. The involvement of university lecturers and students ensures a transfer of knowledge and expertise, which is fundamental for effective community upskilling and long-term impact. The abstract reports encouraging outcomes, including increased community awareness of SDGs, improved natural resource management, enhanced educational opportunities, and strengthened local economic activities. These reported gains suggest a positive initial impact from the program. While the abstract provides a strong overview of the program's intent and initial successes, a full paper would benefit from a more detailed quantitative analysis of these improvements and a discussion of the specific metrics used to assess impact beyond initial awareness. Further exploration of the challenges encountered, the scalability of the interventions, and long-term sustainability mechanisms would also enrich the contribution of this valuable initiative to the discourse on rural SDG achievement.
