Pelatihan tinju inklusif untuk pemberdayaan pemuda gorontalo. Pelatihan tinju inklusif memberdayakan pemuda Gorontalo: tingkatkan kesehatan, prestasi, karakter, dan ubah persepsi masyarakat. Program sukses lewat pelatih bersertifikasi & edukasi publik.
The submitted manuscript, "Pelatihan Tinju Inklusif untuk Pemberdayaan Pemuda Gorontalo," presents an insightful and timely intervention program aimed at leveraging inclusive boxing training for youth empowerment in the Gorontalo region. The study articulates a clear objective: to enhance youth health, achievement, and character development, while simultaneously addressing critical local challenges such as inadequate coach quality, limited infrastructure, and prevailing negative societal perceptions of boxing. Through a multi-pronged approach encompassing coach certification, community outreach via roadshows, and the establishment of a pilot inclusive boxing studio, the program demonstrates a pragmatic strategy to foster positive social change through sports. The program's methodology is well-structured, employing distinct interventions that directly target identified issues. The reported outcomes are commendable, with a significant 40% increase in youth participation and a notable 30% reduction in injury incidents, which speaks to the effectiveness of the coach certification component. Furthermore, the positive shift in public perception (85% viewing boxing as educational) highlights the success of the community education efforts. The authors correctly identify the certified coach approach and public education as key drivers of success. However, while the study effectively showcases the positive impact, a more detailed elaboration on the "inclusive" aspect of the training, beyond simply attracting more participants, could strengthen the narrative. Additionally, while facility limitations are acknowledged as a hindrance, a deeper analysis or qualitative data on how these limitations specifically impacted program delivery or participant experience would enrich the discussion. In conclusion, this paper provides compelling evidence for the efficacy of an inclusive boxing program as a robust model for youth empowerment and regional sports development. The findings strongly suggest that targeted interventions, particularly in coach training and public engagement, can overcome significant barriers and yield tangible positive results in health, safety, and community perception. The proposed framework holds substantial promise for scalability and sustainability in similar contexts facing socio-economic and infrastructural challenges. For future iterations, the authors' recommendation to strengthen supporting facilities is paramount, and further research could explore the long-term character development impacts and the specific mechanisms through which inclusivity was fostered and maintained within the program. This study offers a valuable contribution to the literature on community-based sports interventions and youth development.
