Pelatihan pembuatan menu sate lilit ikan tenggiri sebagai alternatif dashat (dapur sehat atasi stunting) di kelurahan krandon. Pelatihan pembuatan menu sate lilit ikan tenggiri sebagai alternatif DASHAT (Dapur Sehat Atasi Stunting) untuk ibu PKK di Krandon, bekali gizi seimbang cegah stunting balita.
Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities with the theme of Stunting have implemented a Healthy Kitchen Overcoming Stunting or DASHAT work program to overcome the problem of stunting in Krandon Village. This healthy kitchen program is implemented by providing cooking demonstration training to PKK mothers so that they provide nutritious and balanced menu cooking innovations for their children, especially for toddlers aged 12 to 24 months. The purpose of implementing the Healthy Kitchen by KKN students is to provide information and awareness to mothers who have children under 2 years of age to provide healthy and nutritionally balanced food for their children, with the hope that children's development can be maximized and avoid stunting. In this community service activity, it is carried out by holding demonstrations and training in food processing, namely satay lilit tenggiri fish with balanced nutrition for children under 2 years of age, and the menu chosen remains economical so that the knowledge shared can be applied at home.
This manuscript outlines a commendable community service initiative, part of a Real Work Lecture (KKN) program, focused on addressing childhood stunting in Krandon Village. The "Dapur Sehat Atasi Stunting" (DASHAT) program, specifically targeting mothers of toddlers aged 12-24 months, aims to empower them with the knowledge and skills to prepare nutritious and balanced meals. The chosen intervention, a training session on preparing "Sate Lilit Ikan Tenggiri," is presented as a practical and culturally relevant solution to enhance children's nutritional intake and combat stunting, thereby highlighting a direct effort to improve community health outcomes. A significant strength of this work lies in its direct, hands-on approach to community engagement. By providing cooking demonstrations and training to PKK mothers, the program effectively bridges the gap between nutritional knowledge and practical application. The selection of an economical and appealing menu, such as "Sate Lilit Ikan Tenggiri," is particularly commendable, as it increases the likelihood of sustained adoption within households. The abstract clearly articulates the program's purpose: to raise awareness and provide practical skills, which are crucial first steps in any successful public health intervention aimed at long-term behavioral change. While the initiative's intent and approach are highly positive, the abstract, as expected, leaves several methodological details wanting for a comprehensive journal submission. For a full paper, a more detailed description of the intervention's design, including participant recruitment criteria, the duration and frequency of training sessions, and the specific methods used to assess its impact, would be essential. Furthermore, specifying the planned outcome measures—beyond the general hope for "maximized development"—such as changes in mothers' nutritional knowledge, actual dietary diversity or intake among toddlers, or even preliminary anthropometric data, would significantly strengthen the paper's contribution and provide robust evidence of the DASHAT program's effectiveness.
