Temukan bagaimana integrasi aspek teknis & budaya TQM meningkatkan efektivitas proyek & keberlanjutan bisnis.
This study, "Optimalisasi Manajemen Proyek dan Evaluasi Kinerja Pembangunan Proyek di Ciputra Grup," addresses a critical issue prevalent in the construction industry: project delays, cost overruns, quality deficiencies, and technical mismatches. Recognizing these challenges within large-scale Indonesian projects, including those managed by Ciputra Grup, the research effectively posits Total Quality Management (TQM) as an adaptive strategic approach. The core objective is to analyze TQM's influence on both project and overall business performance, dissecting TQM into two insightful dimensions: Soft TQM (focusing on leadership, training, and culture) and Hard TQM (emphasizing technical procedures, quality control, and documentation). This framework provides a robust lens through which to examine quality management practices in a real-world, high-stakes environment. Employing a quantitative methodology with Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on data from Ciputra Grup projects over the past eight years, the research delivers compelling and nuanced findings. Most notably, the study reveals a significant positive impact of Hard TQM on project performance, underscoring the immediate and measurable benefits of strong technical procedures and rigorous quality control. Conversely, Soft TQM, while showing a positive influence, did not achieve statistical significance in its direct impact on project performance. A crucial contribution of this research is the identification of project performance as a strong mediator, effectively linking TQM practices to broader business performance metrics such such as profitability, reputation, and stakeholder satisfaction. The implications of these findings are substantial for Ciputra Grup and the wider Indonesian construction sector. The study strongly advocates for the meticulous implementation of Hard TQM aspects to ensure project effectiveness, suggesting that robust technical and control measures are foundational. While Soft TQM's direct impact was not statistically significant in this particular analysis, the overarching conclusion — that the integration of both technical and cultural aspects within TQM is crucial for enhancing project effectiveness, competitiveness, and business sustainability — remains pertinent. Future research could further explore the contextual factors or specific mechanisms through which Soft TQM might exert a more significant, perhaps indirect, influence, thereby offering more granular insights into how cultural and leadership elements can be more effectively leveraged for superior project outcomes.
