Museum Adityawarman merupakan museum yang ada di Sumatera Barat yang tergolong sebagai destinasi pariwisata budaya dan edukasi, yang terletak di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dan fungsi Museum Adityawarman dalam pelestarian budaya serta potensinya sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah yang menarik dan edukatif bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari - Maret 2025 dengan metode survei dan observasi langsung selama kegiatan magang di museum, serta wawancara dengan pengelola museum untuk memperoleh data primer. Data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen, literatur ilmiah, dan referensi terkait lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Museum Adityawarman memiliki koleksi yang sangat beragam, mencakup koleksi etnografika, historika, arkeologika, hingga seni budaya. Museum ini juga aktif melakukan kegiatan edukasi dan pameran, serta memiliki bangunan bergaya rumah gadang sebagai representasi budaya lokal. Mahasiswa yang melakukan pembelajaran langsung di museum dapat memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan kontekstual terhadap sejarah dan budaya Minangkabau.
