Mplementation of history education case study: suroan tradition in javanese community in srikaton village, tugumulyo district, musi rawas regency. Explore the implementation of history education through the Suroan tradition in the Javanese community of Srikaton Village, Musi Rawas. Discover its Pancasila values and positive community impact.
The Suroan tradition itself gave birth to Pancasila values which have had a positive impact on the community enviroment, especially in the educational enviroment. The implementation of the Suroan tradition has different methodes in each region, but has the same goal, namely to ask for blessing and protection from God Almighty.
This paper proposes an intriguing case study on the Suroan tradition within a Javanese community, specifically focusing on its potential for history education and its connection to Pancasila values. The chosen geographical scope in Srikaton Village offers a localized lens into a significant cultural practice. The abstract highlights the claim that the Suroan tradition inherently fosters Pancasila values and positively impacts the educational environment, suggesting a valuable intersection of cultural heritage and national ideology. The observation that Suroan methods vary regionally while maintaining a common spiritual goal is a noteworthy point that could enrich the discussion on cultural continuity and adaptation. However, the abstract suffers from a critical lack of information regarding the study's methodology. While the title denotes a "case study," the abstract provides no details on how the research was conducted—what data sources were utilized, what research questions guided the investigation, or how the "implementation of history education" aspect was specifically explored and evidenced. The abstract presents conclusions, such as the tradition "gave birth to Pancasila values" and had a "positive impact," without outlining the empirical basis or analytical framework that led to these findings. This omission makes it challenging for a reviewer or reader to assess the rigor and validity of the study. To significantly improve clarity and scholarly contribution, the abstract should be revised to include a concise outline of the research objectives, the specific methods employed (e.g., ethnographic observation, interviews, document analysis), and a summary of the key findings that directly address the integration of Suroan tradition into history education. Furthermore, clarifying the theoretical framework guiding the analysis of Pancasila values within the tradition would enhance its academic depth. As it stands, the abstract presents an interesting premise but fails to provide the necessary details for a comprehensive understanding of the research design and its resultant insights.
