Manusia menurut islam. Kaji konsep manusia menurut Islam dari Al-Qur'an (al-insan, al-basyar, Banu Adam).
The paper, titled 'MANUSIA MENURUT ISLAM,' proposes an examination of the concept of humanity from an Islamic perspective. The abstract clearly outlines the study's objective: to delve into the various terminologies used in the Qur'an, such as *al-insan*, *al-basyar*, and *banu Adam*, to define human existence within Islam. The author rightly emphasizes the significance of this inquiry, underscoring humanity's unique status as both a servant (*‘abd*) and a vicegerent (*khalifah*) on Earth. The chosen methodology, a qualitative approach based on a literature review of Qur'anic verses and Islamic texts, appears well-suited to exploring such a foundational theological and anthropological topic. A key strength lies in its comprehensive approach to identifying human potential, stemming from the divine endowment of intellect, heart, and soul, which enables individuals to achieve high spiritual and social quality of life. The research successfully articulates that humans are beings with immense potential, tasked with balancing spiritual and social dimensions in their lives. The abstract highlights the crucial finding that understanding humanity's position, potential, and duties according to Islam provides a robust foundation for character development and social ethics. This foundational understanding is positioned as a catalyst for individuals to become agents of good and uphold harmonious living based on divine values, contributing significantly to Islamic anthropological discourse. While the abstract presents a solid framework and clear findings, it might benefit from a more explicit discussion of the 'internal and external challenges' that can deviate humans from their divine purpose. Expanding on these specific challenges, perhaps with illustrative examples from Islamic history or contemporary contexts, could further enrich the practical implications of the study. Additionally, exploring how these concepts have been interpreted across different Islamic theological or philosophical schools of thought could provide a valuable layer of analytical depth. Nevertheless, this paper offers a timely and relevant contribution to understanding the multifaceted nature of humanity in Islam, providing essential insights for both academic study and practical application in character building and societal engagement.
