Abstract

Pasta gigi merupakan kebutuhan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam urusan kebersihan mulut, akan tetapi limbah tube-nya merupakan limbah anorganik yang sulit terurai sehingga dapat meyebabkan masalah lingkungan. Salah satu solusi dari permasalahan ini yaitu dengan memanfaatkan limbah tube pasta gigi untuk aksesoris rias fantasi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui validitas dan kelayakan aksesoris rias fantasi dari limbah tube pasta gigi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan observasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode pengembangan R&D. Validitas produk dilakukan oleh 3 validator ahli dan 15 panelis agak terlatih. Teknik analisis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif persentase. Hasil uji inderawi menyatakan bahwa aksesoris rias fantasi dari limbah tube pasta gigi sangat valid dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 85%, uji kesukaan sangat suka memperoleh nilai rata-rata 93%. Simpulan aksesoris rias fantasi dari limbah tube pasta gigi sangat layak. Saran penelitian ini masih harus dikembangkan agar dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas dan inovasi pengolahan limbah tube pasta gigi dalam berbagai desain.
