Abstract

Tradisi Barzaji telah umum dilakukan di Indonesia, demikian juga di Kota Pontianak Kalimantan Barat, khsusnya di MAS Al-Adabiy pembacaan Barzanji dilakukan pada setiap malam jumat. Dalam pelaksanaannya terdapat nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an yang diinternalisasikan. Jenis kajian ini adalah studi lapangan, dengan metode deskriptif-analisis. Lokus penelitian adalah MAS Al-Adabiy Kota Pontianak. Kesimpulan dari artikel ini adalah: Pertama, pembacaan Barzanji Akbar di MAS Al-Adabiy Kota Pontianak rutin dilakukan pada malam Jumat dengan prosesi pelaksanaan: 1) Narasi Pembuka, 2) pembacaan isi Barzanji; dan 3) Penutup. Kedua, nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an yang terakomodur dalam tradisi Barzanji Akbar di MAS Al-Adabiy Kota Pontianak meliputi: 1) Mengajarkan Ketaatan kepada Allah; 2) Mengajarkan Saling Menyayangi; 3) Mengajarkan Pentingnya Pengetahuan dan Pendidikan; 4) Mengajarkan Arti Persatuan dan Persaudaraan; dan 5) Mengajarkan Pentingnya Berbagi dan Berbuat Kebaikan.
