Review

This paper presents a highly relevant and timely initiative focused on empowering women through vocational training, uniquely integrated with the foundational values of Pancasila. The project, implemented in Gledeg Village, addresses critical aspects of community development by fostering economic independence while simultaneously strengthening cultural identity and ethical understanding. The choice of *batik ciprat* as the medium is particularly commendable, as it not only taps into Indonesia's rich cultural heritage but also offers a tangible pathway to entrepreneurial success. The abstract effectively conveys the project's noble aims and the potential for significant positive impact on the participants. The strengths of this dedication project lie in its multi-faceted approach to women's empowerment. By combining practical skills acquisition in *batik ciprat* with an explicit focus on Pancasila values, the program aims to cultivate well-rounded individuals who are both economically capable and ethically grounded. The abstract highlights key outcomes such as improved skills, enhanced motivation, and strengthened character, suggesting a holistic development model. Furthermore, the emphasis on creating high-value products and identifying new business opportunities directly addresses the goal of economic independence. The three-stage implementation approach (preparation, execution, final) also indicates a structured and thoughtful methodology for project delivery. While the abstract provides a compelling overview, a more comprehensive review would ideally seek greater detail within the full paper regarding the *how* and *measurement* of certain aspects. Specifically, it would be beneficial to understand the concrete methods employed to integrate Pancasila values into the practical batik training – beyond simply providing a foundation, how were these values explicitly taught, discussed, and manifested during the sessions? Furthermore, the abstract mentions enhancing "glory" and "economic independence"; the full paper should elaborate on the specific metrics and assessment tools used to objectively measure these improvements in skills, motivation, character strengthening, and actual economic upliftment. Providing empirical data on participant engagement, product sales, and long-term sustainability would significantly bolster the paper's contribution to the literature on community development and women's empowerment.
