Introduction

Hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat kecemasan dengan kesiapan menghadapi menarche pada siswi kelas iv dan v sdn sukatani 2 kabupaten tangerang. Hubungan pengetahuan & kecemasan dengan kesiapan menarche pada siswi SD Sukatani 2 diteliti. Kurangnya informasi picu nyeri & kecemasan, pengaruhi kesiapan remaja putri hadapi menstruasi pertama.

Abstract

Masa remaja wanita dikenal sebagai periode tertentu yang ditandai dengan datangnya menarche (menstruasi pertama). Pengetahuan yang kurang menyebabkan Remaja putri sering mengaitkan menstruasi dengan rasa nyeri, yang dapat menimbulkan kecemasan saat mempersiapkan menarche. Untuk menganalisis adanya hubungan  tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat kecemasan siswi kelas IV dan V dengan kesiapan dalam menghadapi menarche di SD Negeri Sukatani 2 Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dan analisis kuantitatif, desain pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel berjumlah 60 responden dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil Penelitian: Dari hasil uji chi square diperoleh nilai uji P -value tingkat pengetahuan dengan kesiapan menghadapi menarche p= 0,000 dan  nilai uji P -value tingkat kecemasn dengan kesiapan menghadapi menarche p= 0,000. Ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat kecemasan anak dengan kesiapan dalam menghadapi menarche pada siswi kelas IV dan V di SDN Sukatani 2 Kabupaten Tangerang.

Both a higher level of knowledge and a lower level of anxiety were strongly associated with greater readiness to face menarche, as evidenced by p-values of 0.000 for both variables. Its clear objective and quantitative approach provide a solid foundation for identifying significant correlations. The use of total sampling for 60 respondents ensures complete data capture from the target group within the specified school. While the abstract effectively communicates the statistical significance of the findings, a more detailed elaboration in the full paper regarding the specific instruments or scales used to measure knowledge, anxiety, and readiness would enhance the methodological rigor and replicability. Furthermore, as a cross-sectional study, while it identifies relationships, it cannot establish causality, which is an inherent limitation worth acknowledging. The findings of this research carry significant practical implications for school health programs and parental education initiatives. The strong association between knowledge, anxiety, and menarche readiness underscores the critical need for comprehensive and early sex education that equips young girls with accurate information and emotional support, thereby reducing anxiety. Educational interventions focusing on these aspects could significantly improve girls' experience of menarche and overall well-being during adolescence. Future research could expand upon this study by employing longitudinal designs to track changes in readiness over time, exploring the effectiveness of specific educational interventions, or examining other socio-cultural factors that might influence girls' experiences. Additionally, qualitative studies could provide deeper insights into the lived experiences and perceptions of girls facing menarche.
