Abstract

O presente trabalho analisa como se configuram os princípios do realismo lukacsiano na construção de personagens nos contos “A espera da volante” e “Um valente romano”, da obra Faca (2017), de Ronaldo Correia de Brito. Para isso, fundamentase principalmente em Georg Lukács, especialmente no ensaio “Narrar ou descrever” (1965), além de referenciais críticos como Candido (2004), Frederico (2013), Bastos (2011) e Borges (2022), que contribuem para a compreensão do método narrativo e do conceito de tipicidade. Deste modo, o estudo está organizado em duas etapas: na primeira, sistematizam-se as categorias do realismo lukacsiano — o método narrativo, a tipicidade e a centralidade da ação — a fim de estabelecer parâmetros analíticos; na segunda, examinam-se os contos selecionados, observando as trajetórias, interações e condicionamentos sociais das personagens, bem como a função que os elementos narrativos desempenham na representação dos destinos humanos.
