This study, "Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Keluhan Muskuloskeletal Disorder (MSDs) Pada Pekerja di Proyek Hotel Soll Marina," addresses a highly pertinent issue within occupational health: the prevalence and associated factors of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) among construction workers. Given the physically demanding nature of construction work, the high susceptibility of this population to MSDs makes this research timely and important. The authors employed a clear cross-sectional design utilizing primary data collected through questionnaires from a total sample of 75 respondents. A striking finding immediately apparent from the abstract is the high proportion of workers, 62.7%, reporting severe MSD complaints, underscoring the urgency of addressing this health concern in the industry. The research effectively identified several key factors significantly associated with MSD complaints using chi-square analysis (p-value < 0.05). These include age, tenure (masa kerja), work duration (durasi kerja), and exercise habits (kebiasaan olahraga). While the abstract clearly states these relationships, the full paper would benefit from elaborating on the nature of these associations – for instance, whether older age, longer tenure, and extended work durations *increase* the risk, and how specific exercise habits (or lack thereof) modulate this risk. Further detail on the types of MSDs reported (e.g., back pain, neck pain, joint pain) would also enhance the specificity and utility of the findings. The reliance on self-reported data via questionnaires, while common in such studies, should also be acknowledged in the discussion of limitations in the main paper. Overall, this study provides valuable insights into the epidemiological profile of MSDs among construction workers in a specific hotel project setting. The identified risk factors offer practical guidance for developing targeted interventions, such as ergonomic assessments, job rotation strategies, promoting regular physical activity, and age-appropriate task assignments to mitigate MSD risks. The findings reinforce the necessity of proactive occupational health programs in construction sites to improve worker well-being and productivity. Future research could expand upon these findings by employing longitudinal designs to establish causality, exploring additional ergonomic risk factors, or evaluating the effectiveness of specific interventions derived from these identified associations. This paper makes a solid contribution to understanding and addressing a significant occupational health challenge.
