Digitalisasi tanaman obat: inovasi mbkm ppk ormawa melalui platform toga berbasis google sites. Inovasi MBKM PPK Ormawa mendigitalisasi 43 jenis tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) via Google Sites.
This paper presents a highly relevant and timely initiative, "Digitalisasi Tanaman Obat: Inovasi MBKM PPK Ormawa melalui Platform Toga Berbasis Google Sites," which effectively merges biodiversity conservation with digital innovation and community empowerment. The project, stemming from the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, demonstrates a commendable effort by students to address real-world issues in Desa Singopadu. Its focus on the digital preservation and dissemination of knowledge about traditional medicinal plants (TOGA) is particularly significant, aligning well with global efforts to conserve local ecological knowledge and promote sustainable health practices. The innovative use of Google Sites coupled with QR codes as an accessible platform for information delivery is a notable strength. The methodology employed, encompassing field surveys, species identification, taxonomic classification, and digital content creation, appears robust and well-suited for the project's objectives. The successful documentation of 43 distinct TOGA species, each meticulously detailed with local names, scientific classifications, descriptions, and primary benefits, represents a substantial contribution to local ethnobotany. The developed digital platform, accessible via QR codes, is a practical and user-friendly solution for bridging traditional knowledge with modern technology. This not only facilitates easier access to vital health information for the community but also actively contributes to the preservation of local biodiversity and strengthens health literacy, demonstrating a tangible positive impact on the target community. Overall, this initiative serves as an excellent model for community-based research and practical application of academic knowledge within the MBKM framework. The project's success in digitalizing traditional medicinal plant information and enhancing community access offers a strong foundation for future replication and scaling in other regions facing similar challenges in preserving traditional ecological knowledge. While the abstract focuses on initial implementation and outputs, future work could potentially explore long-term user engagement metrics, the platform's sustained impact on local health practices, and its potential for becoming a self-sustaining community resource. Nevertheless, this paper clearly outlines a valuable and impactful project with significant potential for broader societal benefit.
