Abstract

Latar belakang: Kebiasaan sarapan merupakan salah satu yang menyumbang pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi setiap hari. Kecukupan asupan yang seimbang dengan aktivitas kerja harian menjadi faktor utama yang menentukan status gizi seseorang. Bagi pekerja, status gizi akan mempengaruhi kebugaran jasmani yang berkontribusi dalam produktivitas kerja yang optimal. Tujuan: mengukur status gizi, kebiasaan sarapan dan tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada pekerja di PT. DAIDO Indonesia Manufacturing. Metode: Sebanyak 234 orang pekerja berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pengukuran status gizi dan tingkat kebugaran jasmani. Karakteristik responden digali dengan wawancara, status gizi diukur dengan menghitung Indeks Massa Tubuh, sedangkan Havard step test dilakukan untuk mengukur tingkat kebugaran jasmani. Hasil: Sebagian besar pekerja di PT. DAIDO Indonesia Manufacturing terbiasa sarapan, namun ada perbedaan status gizi dan tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada kelompok laki-laki dan perempuan. Mayoritas tingkat kebugaran jasmani pekerja termasuk dalam kategori sangat kurang, sedangkan persentase status gizi lebih, lebih dominan pada kelompok laki-laki dibandingkan perempuan. Kesimpulan: Hasil dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa perlunya pemantauan status gizi dan tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada pekerja demi memperoleh kualitas produktivitas kerja yang optimal.
