Abstract

Pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk dan perkembangan wilayah di daerah perkotaan maupun pinggiran kota semakin memperbesar volume kebutuhan air bersih, yang secara otomatis meningkatkan jumlah limbah cair domestik. Menurut Anwar (2018), timbulan air limbah domestik dapat mencapai 60–80% dari total kebutuhan air bersih, sehingga semakin tinggi konsumsi air bersih, semakin besar pula air limbah yang dihasilkan. Hal ini menunjukkan pentingnya perhitungan timbulan air limbah yang berbasis pada analisis kebutuhan air bersih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perhitungan debit air limbah domestik sebagai dasar perencanaan sistem pengolahan air limbah yang optimal dan berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data primer serta analisis proyeksi jumlah penduduk dengan pendekatan aritmatik dan geometrik dan analisis perhitungan debit air limbah. Hasil proyeksi menunjukkan bahwa jumlah penduduk akan meningkat dari 8.834 jiwa pada tahun 2024 menjadi sekitar 11.237 jiwa pada tahun 2034. Berdasarkan proyeksi tersebut, dihitung kebutuhan air bersih serta estimasi debit air limbah domestik menggunakan standar konsumsi air 80 liter/orang/hari. Debit air limbah dihitung sebagai 70–80% dari kebutuhan air bersih. Perhitungan juga mencakup debit puncak dan debit minimum sebagai dasar perencanaan sistem pengelolaan limbah
