Abstract

Waroge merupakan sebuah benda pusaka yang sangat sakral bagi masyarakat Baduy di Jawa Barat. Di dalamnya terkandung beragam jampi dan mantra kuno, serta diyakini memiliki kekuatan spiritual yang kuat. Makna mendalam dari setiap simbol dan gambar yang terukir pada Waroge mencerminkan sudut pandang kosmologi yang bersumber dari naskah kuno Sewaka Darma. Naskah ini membagi alam semesta ke dalam tiga tingkatan fundamental: dunia sakala, yaitu alam fisik yang dapat diindra oleh manusia; dunia niskala, alam gaib tak kasat mata yang dihuni oleh roh leluhur dan entitas spiritual; serta dunia jatiniskala, alam esensi tertinggi tempat Tuhan Yang Maha Esa (Guriang Tunggal) bersemayam.
