The paper titled "Si Cantik Bunga Telang (Clitoria Ternatae L.) Untuk Mengatasi Diabetes Mellitus" outlines a community engagement project focused on educating individuals with diabetes mellitus (DM) in Klaten about the potential application of *Clitoria ternatea* (butterfly pea flower) as a herbal therapy. The relevance of this work is significant, addressing a widespread chronic disease and exploring natural resources for its management. The initiative aims to empower prolanis club members with practical knowledge regarding natural ingredients in their daily lives, particularly within the context of herbal therapy for diabetes patients. The methodology described in the abstract includes a series of practical activities: pre-test, educational counseling on diabetes management, a workshop on preparing butterfly pea flower infusions, and training on its production and sustainable cultivation, followed by a post-test and questionnaire. The primary finding reported is an increase in knowledge among prolanis members following the counseling material and workshops. While this demonstrates the immediate impact of the educational intervention, the abstract lacks specific quantitative data or statistical analysis to substantiate the extent of this knowledge gain. Furthermore, there's a notable gap between the title's assertion of *Clitoria ternatea* "overcoming" diabetes and the abstract's description of an educational intervention focusing on its use as "herbal therapy," suggesting a need for clearer articulation of the plant's intended role. Overall, this community service project offers valuable insights into promoting local botanical knowledge and empowering communities in managing chronic conditions through educational interventions. To strengthen the academic merit of this work, future presentations should provide more detailed quantitative results from the pre- and post-tests, indicating the magnitude and statistical significance of the knowledge increase. It would also be beneficial to clarify the specific mechanisms or evidence presented during the intervention that support *Clitoria ternatea*'s role in diabetes management. Subsequent research could also explore whether this increased knowledge translates into actual behavioral changes or improved health outcomes, thereby offering a more comprehensive understanding of the intervention's long-term impact.
