Abstract

Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian state contains values in every point that must be used as a guideline for the life of the Indonesian nation without exception the youth as the next generation of the nation who have the potential to realize national ideals. Youth are agents of change in Indonesia's development in the future, This is so that later Indonesian youth can compete with youth in other countries and can be strong and resilient in facing all national problems that are threats, obstacles, challenges and disturbances both from within and outside the country. Youth is an important key that plays an active role in strengthening national resilience. The focus of this study is the revitalization of Pancasila ideological values among the younger generation as an effort to strengthen national resilience. The research method used is literature study, which is a series of activities to search, read, record, review reports, and library materials that contain theories relevant to problems in revealing past events. The results of the study show that Indonesia's national resilience will be strong if elements of the nation can face all forms of threats, obstacles, challenges and disturbances that come from within and outside the country. One of the elements of the nation is the youth who become the next generation of the Indonesian nation in the future. So it is important to instill revitalization of the values of Pancasila ideology among Indonesian youth as a provision in facing competition amid the current of globalization.

Review

This paper addresses a highly pertinent and timely topic concerning the revitalization of Pancasila ideological values among the younger generation in Indonesia, linking this directly to the strengthening of national resilience. The abstract effectively highlights the critical role of youth as agents of change and future leaders who must navigate global competition and internal/external challenges. Emphasizing Pancasila as the nation's foundational ideology, the study's objective to explore how its values can be re-instilled is fundamentally important for Indonesia's long-term stability and development. While the core premise is sound, the abstract's description of the methodology, a 'literature study,' remains quite broad. It outlines a general process of searching and reviewing materials, but lacks specificity regarding the theoretical frameworks employed, the criteria for source selection, or how the literature was synthesized to yield concrete insights into *how* Pancasila values are to be revitalized. Consequently, the stated 'results' appear to largely reaffirm the initial premise – that strong national resilience requires elements capable of facing threats, and that youth are crucial. While undeniably true, a more detailed outcome derived from the literature review, perhaps outlining specific strategies for revitalization or identifying historical successes/failures, would significantly enhance the paper's contribution beyond a general affirmation of importance. Overall, the paper tackles a vital subject that warrants extensive academic attention. It effectively articulates the foundational importance of Pancasila for Indonesian youth and national resilience. However, to move beyond a foundational assertion, future iterations or related research could benefit from a more elaborated methodology that details the analytical lens applied to the literature. Furthermore, the discussion of 'revitalization' would be strengthened by exploring practical, evidence-based strategies or case studies for instilling these values, rather than concluding with a general call for their importance. This would provide more actionable insights for policymakers and educators, ultimately bolstering the paper's impact on the discourse surrounding Pancasila and national resilience.
