This manuscript presents findings from a community service initiative focused on assessing the nutritional status and physical fitness of workers at PT. Daido Indonesia Manufacturing. The topic is highly relevant, as both nutritional status and physical fitness are known to significantly impact worker productivity, a crucial aspect for any industrial setting. The study aims to provide a baseline understanding of these parameters among the workforce, offering valuable insights into the health profile of the employees. The methodology involved a cross-sectional assessment conducted in March 2022, engaging 234 workers. Nutritional status was measured, although the specific method is not detailed beyond "pengukuran status gizi." Physical fitness was assessed using the well-established Harvard Step Test. Data analysis was descriptive, primarily reporting percentages and frequencies. The results reveal a concerning picture: over half of the workers (51.7%) exhibited abnormal nutritional status, with a notable proportion being overweight (40.6%) and a smaller segment underweight (11.1%). Furthermore, a significant majority of both male (61.7%) and female (51.9%) workers were classified as having "very poor" physical fitness. The strength of this work lies in its practical application, providing a comprehensive snapshot of worker health within a specific industrial context and involving a substantial number of participants. However, a significant limitation is its purely descriptive nature. While the title suggests "efforts to improve productivity," the abstract confirms the activity was solely focused on *measurement* and *description*, without any intervention or direct analysis of the correlation with actual productivity metrics. This discrepancy between the title's promise and the abstract's scope should be clarified. Future research should build upon these baseline findings by detailing the specific methods for nutritional assessment, exploring the underlying causes of poor nutrition and fitness, and, most importantly, implementing and evaluating targeted interventions designed to improve worker health and subsequently measure their impact on productivity, thereby fulfilling the broader objective implied by the title.
