Abstract

Pencemaran udara akibat aktivitas pertambangan di Kecamatan Cipatat, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, telah menyebabkan peningkatan konsentrasi polutan berbahaya seperti SO₂, NO₂, dan CO, yang menurunkan kualitas udara hingga kategori "berbahaya" menurut analisis Indeks Standar Pencemaran Udara (ISPU). Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana memecahkan perbedaan perspektif umat Islam dan sains terkait pencemaran udara di kawasan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kualitas udara berdasarkan perspektif Al-Qur'an dan teknologi modern guna mengidentifikasi strategi mitigasi yang efektif. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup analisis data spasial menggunakan citra satelit Sentinel-5P melalui platform Google Earth Engine (GEE) untuk memantau perubahan kualitas udara secara temporal dari tahun 2018 hingga 2023, serta metode Maudhu'i (tematik) untuk menggali perspektif Al-Qur'an terkait pelestarian lingkungan. Inovasi penelitian ini terletak pada pendekatan integratif antara teknologi pemantauan berbasis satelit dengan prinsip-prinsip spiritual dalam Al-Qur'an, memberikan solusi berbasis data yang akurat sekaligus membangun kesadaran moral masyarakat untuk menjaga lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan lingkungan di kawasan pertambangan memerlukan sinergi antara teknologi dan etika, guna mencapai keseimbangan antara pembangunan ekonomi dan keberlanjutan lingkungan.
