Kebutuhan akan fasilitas pejalan kaki yang aman dan nyaman dan inklusif menjadi krusial untuk mendukung kegiatan sehari hari dari berbagai lapisan yang menggunakan area tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan data yang langsung diambil dari lokasi penelitian berupa gambaran secara umum meliputi panjang jalan lebar jalan dan kondisi jalan serta data pejalan kaki, volume kendaraan. Sedangkan untuk merencanakan fasilitas pejalan kaki membutuhkan data-data sepreti volume pejalan kaki dan volume kendaraan lalu lintas serta kecapatan pajalan kaki. Pada area pasar Kalirejo ini didapat volume pejalan kaki cukup tinggi, disetiap segmen memiliki arus pejalan kaki yang berbeda beda dan begitu pula dengan keadaan arus lalu lintas. Hasil dari penelitian didapat yaitu pada segmen A jenis fasilitas penyebrangan menggunakan zebra cross dengan nilai PV² sebesar 1,7 x 10⁸ dan fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri dengan lebar trotoar 185 cm. Segmen B jenis fasilitas penyebrangan mengunakan zebra cross dengan nilai PV 1,7 x 10⁸ dan fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri yang digunakan selebar 185 cm. Segmen C fasiitas pejalan kaki menyebrang tidak memenuhi syarat dengan nilai 5,8 x 10⁷ yang dimana nilai PV² tidak mencukupi nilai minimal dan fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri dengan lebar 185 cm. Segmen Cc jenis fasilitas penyebrangan yang digunakan pedestrian platform dengan nilai PV² sebesar 6,3 x 10⁸ dan lebar fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri selebar 185 cm. dan di segmen D jenis fasilitas penyebrangan yang digunakan tidak memenuhi nilai minimal PV² dan lebar fasilitas pejalan kaki menyusuri selebar 185cm.
