Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan di berbagai sektor, termasuk dalam industri penjualan buku. Pemanfaatan aplikasi mobile menjadi salah satu solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan memperbaiki kualitas layanan kepada pelanggan. CV. Kamalia Sinar Sejahtera, sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini, masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti pengelolaan daftar buku secara manual, pencatatan transaksi yang kurang akurat, serta proses pembuatan faktur yang memerlukan waktu cukup lama. Permasalahan tersebut berdampak pada menurunnya produktivitas dan efektivitas proses bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sebuah aplikasi mobile berbasis Android yang mampu mengatasi kendala tersebut. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan Kotlin untuk antarmuka pengguna (front-end) dan Laravel sebagai back-end, dengan menerapkan metode pengembangan sistem berorientasi objek. Proses pengembangan mencakup tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, hingga pengujian untuk memastikan fungsionalitas aplikasi sesuai spesifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi yang dihasilkan mampu mempercepat pengelolaan data buku, melakukan pencatatan transaksi secara otomatis, serta mempermudah pembuatan faktur. Selain itu, aplikasi ini juga berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan produktivitas staf operasional dan memperbaiki pengalaman pelanggan secara keseluruhan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan atau referensi untuk pengembangan aplikasi serupa di industri penjualan buku lainnya
