Drug trafficking is a serious problem that continues to threaten public security and health. The government is required to develop a more effective strategy in overcoming this problem, one of which is by utilizing technology. This research aims to evaluate the role of the BOSS (BNN One Stop Service) application as a tool to help the government in reducing drug trafficking. The research methods used include collecting primary and secondary data through literature studies, searching for various related information, as well as analyzing drug case data obtained from the BOSS application. The research results show that the BOSS application is able to increase the effectiveness of monitoring and preventing drug trafficking through integrated data collection and analysis. This application not only enables early detection of suspicious activity, but also increases public participation in anonymous reporting, thereby expanding the scope of surveillance. These findings indicate that the use of technology in the BOSS application has great potential to strengthen government efforts to tackle drug trafficking and create a safer environment.
This paper addresses a highly pertinent and critical issue: the role of government in leveraging technology to combat drug trafficking, a problem with significant societal and public health implications. The focus on evaluating the BOSS (BNN One Stop Service) application as a technological tool is timely and innovative. The abstract suggests that the research successfully demonstrates the application's potential to enhance monitoring and prevention efforts through integrated data collection, early detection capabilities, and increased public participation via anonymous reporting. These findings indicate a promising avenue for strengthening governmental strategies against this pervasive crime. While the abstract highlights compelling potential, it leaves several crucial questions unanswered regarding the depth and rigor of the presented research. The methodological description, referencing generic "primary and secondary data" and "literature studies," lacks specificity. A robust evaluation would require clearer articulation of the *types* of primary data collected (e.g., user feedback, official statistics, expert interviews) and the *specific analytical techniques* applied to the drug case data from the BOSS application. Furthermore, the claim of increased "effectiveness" would be significantly bolstered by defining the metrics used for this assessment and presenting tangible evidence or comparative data that substantiates this improvement. Details on the specific features of the BOSS application that enable "early detection" and how "public participation" is quantitatively measured would also enhance the paper's impact and credibility. In conclusion, this research tackles a vital subject and proposes an important technological solution. The abstract effectively conveys the perceived benefits of the BOSS application, suggesting a valuable contribution to the field of anti-drug policy and technology utilization. To maximize its impact, the full paper should endeavor to provide a more detailed and transparent account of its methodology, clearly define and present the empirical evidence supporting its claims of effectiveness, and elaborate on the specific technological mechanisms at play. Addressing these points would strengthen the paper's academic rigor and provide more actionable insights for policymakers and practitioners aiming to replicate or adapt such technological interventions.
