Abstract

Artykuł jest pierwszą próbą ukazania części twórczości Eugeniusza Ludwika Dąbrowy-Dąbrowskiego (1870–1941), która wiąże się ze sztuką użytkową. Artysta zainteresował się sztuką użytkową po 1901 roku, gdy związał się z Towarzystwem Polska Sztuka Stosowana. Motywem przewodnim, który łączy wszystkie gałęzie działalności projektanta, jest silna inspiracja sztuką ludową, dlatego ten wątek został wybrany jako wiodący podczas analizy jego projektów. To źródło inspiracji skłoniło do zadania pytania: czym dla Dąbrowskiego była sztuka ludowa?
