Review

The paper titled "Implementation of Mobile Government in Banjar Negeri Village to Improve Services" addresses a highly relevant and pressing issue concerning the modernization of local governance. It effectively identifies a critical gap in service delivery within Banjar Negeri Village, where reliance on manual administrative processes results in significant inefficiencies, delays, and a lack of effectiveness for the community. The stated aim to introduce a mobile government-based information system is a timely and appropriate response, aligning with contemporary trends in digital transformation for public services and demonstrating a clear objective to enhance citizen engagement and administrative efficiency. The abstract outlines a pragmatic methodological approach, employing observation and literature study for data collection, followed by the structured Waterfall method for information system development. The reported findings are promising and directly address the initial problem statement. Specifically, the implementation of the Mobile Government system is credited with reducing bureaucracy and significantly accelerating government administration processes. The abstract highlights key functionalities, such as citizens' ability to apply for permits, access population information, and report problems via an easy-to-use mobile application, thereby enhancing accessibility and convenience for the community. This work presents a compelling case for the practical application of information technology to resolve tangible administrative problems at the local level. The clear articulation of the problem, the proposed technological solution, and the positive outcomes underscore the value of mobile government initiatives, particularly in rural or village settings. While the abstract effectively conveys the successful impact on service efficiency and citizen access, a full paper would greatly benefit from a more detailed discussion of the implementation challenges faced, user adoption rates, and a more rigorous, possibly quantitative, evaluation of the "significant increase" in service processes. Nevertheless, this study offers valuable insights into the potential for digital solutions to transform local governance.
