Perumahan Pondok Makmur, Kota Tangerang, menghadapi permasalahan kurangnya penerangan jalan, terutama pada jalur utama dan akses ke permukiman warga. Kondisi ini berdampak pada meningkatnya risiko kecelakaan, kriminalitas, dan menurunnya aktivitas sosial pada malam hari. Melalui program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, diusulkan solusi berupa pemasangan Lampu Sorot berbasis Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) sebagai bentuk penerangan yang mandiri dan ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui tahapan survei lokasi, pengadaan bahan, Instalasi sistem PLTS, serta sosialisasi kepada warga mengenai pemeliharaan dan pemanfaatan energi terbarukan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan peningkatan titik terang di lingkungan permukiman, tumbuhnya rasa aman, dan meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap teknologi energi alternatif. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model penerangan jalan berkelanjutan di kawasan pemukiman serupa.

The aspiration for this program to serve as a sustainable model for street lighting in similar housing developments is well-founded, suggesting broader applicability and potential for replication. This work effectively showcases how localized, renewable energy solutions can profoundly impact community well-being and promote greater energy literacy.
