Abstract

Tanulmányomban Fazekas Mihály elbeszélő költeményét, a Lúdas Matyit elemzem narratológiai szempontból. Rámutatok a paratextusok által többféle módon intencionált értelmezési lehetőségekre, a fragmentumszerű, elliptikus szüzsé metaleptikus narratívákkal való feltölthetőségére, valamint a szövegnek az éles vágásokon és a ritmikus montázsoláson alapuló dinamizmusára. Ezután kitérek a 20. századi filmfeldolgozások, az 1949‐es játékfilm, illetve az 1977‐es rajzfilm vizsgálatára, melyek ugyanazokat a transzformációs eljárásokat ismétlik meg: narratív technikájuk ezáltal nemcsak a Fazekas‐műre vezethetők vissza, hanem egymással is párbeszédbe lépnek. A narratív struktúra és a filmadaptációk összevetéséből ugyanakkor kiderül az is, hogy a főhős alakja az elbeszélő költeményben állandóan mozgásban lévő pikarófiguraként ragadható meg leginkább, míg az átdolgozások éppen ezt a jellegzetességét szüntetik meg a történetnek.
