Abstract

Review

This paper addresses a highly pertinent and critical subject: the environmental impact factors associated with apparel products. Given the global scale of the fashion industry and its significant ecological footprint across the entire supply chain—from raw material extraction and processing to manufacturing, distribution, use, and end-of-life disposal—a comprehensive analysis of these factors is of immense value. Such a study holds the potential to inform sustainable design practices, guide consumer choices, and shape policy interventions aimed at mitigating environmental damage within the textile and apparel sector. The title clearly defines the scope, promising an investigation into the various elements that contribute to the environmental burden of clothing. However, a fundamental and critical deficiency precludes any meaningful assessment of the work presented: the complete absence of an abstract. An abstract serves as the condensed essence of a research paper, outlining its purpose, methodology, key findings, and conclusions. Without this crucial component, it is impossible to gauge the originality of the research, the specific questions addressed, the analytical framework employed, the nature of the data collected (if any), or the significant contributions this study makes to the existing body of knowledge. Consequently, it is impossible to evaluate the paper's scientific rigor, the validity of its arguments, or its potential impact on the field. In its current state, the paper is fundamentally incomplete and cannot be considered for peer review or publication. The author must provide a detailed and informative abstract that concisely articulates the research problem, objectives, the methods used to identify and analyze the environmental impact factors, the main results or insights derived, and the principal conclusions. Once a comprehensive abstract is provided, along with the full manuscript, a proper evaluation of the work's quality, relevance, and contribution to sustainability in the apparel industry can be undertaken.
